About Us
Erie's only Elite Level Archery Coach
Coach Tim founded Archery Encounters in 2016 after several years conducting archery events in his hometown of Erie, western PA, and Hollywood, CA.
Coach Tim is a USAF veteran and Erie native that came to archery late in life and had a rough start: poor fitting equipment, salesmen more interested in a sale than in educating a noob, etc, but he fell in love with archery none the less. Wanting to share this love with all he could, Tim began putting on archery events at Presque Isle State park and elsewhere around Erie. This led to invites to several celebrity events to enhance them with an archery component. Now a USA Archery Level 4 NTS Coach and Level 2 Judge he continues to provide archery opportunities for all who want to try it, increase their proficiency, or just practice without worrying about the weather.

From USA Archery's Junior Olympic Archery Development and Adult Archery programs to individual "give it a try" sessions we have selections for every desire. Want a fun time with friends? choose an archery party or our black light shoot options. Choose a family session for a smaller group or family. Just want to hone your skills or sight in? Chose open range time. Whatever you desire we can accommodate your needs.
